This printer is an update to the popular HP Laserjet 9000 printer, featuring a nearly identical cartridge (25X). However, the M806 engine has a faster print speed, meaning that select components used in the HP 9000 cartridge (43X) cannot be used in 25X cartridges or poor fusing will occur.

Static Control’s full system of components for the M806 was developed to provide optimal performance. Our dedicated mag roller and toner were developed to overcome the potential fusing issues associated with a fast print engine.

The OEM toner density starts dark, but quickly fades during cartridge life. Our HM806-1645B-OS Odyssey^® toner was designed to provide a more consistent image density from start to finish. Our wiper blade and OPC drum combination was developed specifically to prevent wiper blade flip, a catastrophic print defect.

Using our splitting system and end plates provides a safe way to cut through the cartridge to allow for remanufacturing without damaging any of the crucial electrical contacts. This system also allows for more plentiful 43X cartridges to be converted for use in the M806 printers.

We recommend a full Static Control build with each remanufacturing cycle to ensure high quality prints throughout the life of the cartridge.
